Removing the dirty litter (clump): Use disposable gloves and a mask for this. Slide and fold the front section upwards. Using a litter scoop, collect and empty the (clump) waste inside the basin. If a complete litter replacement is required, remove the upper section of the box entirely by opening the locks on both sides of the container and be sure to close the locks when you are done.
